2024 Shotgun Range Summer Shoot

When:  July 27 starting at 10:00 AM for warm-up rounds, 10:30 AM for Competition

The Event is open to members and non-members so feel free to forward this invite to others.

• 10:00 Warm-up practice round of 2 shots from each of 5 stations to familiarize yourself with the range (if needed)
  
• 10:30 AM Start for Competition
  
• $40 per shooter (bring your own shotgun and ammunition)
• Two skill levels (self classify as intermediate or advanced)
• Includes entry in four games. (All games consist of 10 targets)
  
  • Trap Slider – Precision Counts! Standard Trap but, on rotation shooters “slide” back to increase the shooting distance to targets.
  • Annie Oakley –FOCUS! The first shooter on the line calls for a bird… if they miss the target, the second shooter can shoot at the target, if they miss, then the third shooter can try and so on until the target hits the ground. When a shooter misses, they move to the end of the line. Two misses and you’re out.
  • Poison Pair – Concentration Wins! Two targets are thrown simultaneously: one green and one orange. The idea is to hit both birds in the correct order, green then orange. Points are scored by hitting particular colored birds in the correct order.. if out of order, points can be detracted!
  • Team “Chipper” –Have Fun!  A team of two shooters compete against other teams. Pairs alternate “chipping” each other’s targets.

Hamburgers, hotdogs and beverages will be available for a donation.
